Due to the nature of having a procedural smooth voxel world in the game, and said world using many of the latest and greatest graphics enhancements, Astral Terra requires a good amount of resources. These specs are also posted in our FAQ.
Currently, we recommend a minimum of a dual core processor, graphics card NVidia GTX550/ATI 6760 or higher with Direct X 10.1+ & 4GB of RAM and a 32 bit Windows OS.
Recommended System Specs: Quad core processor, graphics card NVidia GTX 660/ATI 7870 or higher, 8GB of RAM and a 64 bit Windows OS. We'll be offering the 64bit version soon.
We are of course always working on optimizing the engine while also pushing it further and keeping that game as pretty as possible. Expect more fine tuning and more graphical setting options as development progress's.
