Astral Terra is Greenlit and a Dwarf Arrives

Gratitude for all the support, votes and sharing that our followers did to get this project Greenlit. There are many of us who just can’t wait to play this game (the development team included) and it is a great privilege to be able to make something like this dream of ours and have the opportunity to put in in front of 65 million players. Gratitude to both the community and Valve for giving us a chance.

This week we finished up the the male dwarf color concept and model sheets. The female dwarf is in production now and we will be fleshing them out to be 3d playable avatars in the following weeks. Here is the final color concept for the male dwarf:

In the following weeks we will be finishing up the work on our new custom voxel building tools, fleshing out more of our biomes and doing a ton of polish and bug fixing. Expect to see new videos and more details on our next crowd funding campaign very soon!


Chris is an avid gamer & passionate game developer. Chris brings 11+ years experience to his role of Game Devigner (a new term in this industry that covers people who are both designer and developer), and is able to create designs by using 3D Studio Max, Maya, Unity, Photoshop, XHTML, C# and Javascript. He also has 9+ years experience in animation, modeling and lighting techniques, as well as is experienced using Viewpoint Technology and Unity for real time cutting edge 3D interaction over the web.
